I am sure you will agree that it can seem an ongoing challenge to grow your business and at times it can seem impossible especially when you are trying to grow your client base.

Now we could go down the path of just exploring the many ways to directly attract new clients. However, have you considered and are you looking for opportunities to grow from within your current business?  It is very possible that you are sitting on a mountain of gold of not only opportunities to grow your business with your current and also past clients but also to attract new clients through these clients. We all know how great referral business can be when it it is generated through word of mouth by customers who already know and love you.

If you have considered building your business through your current and past clients, what are you actively doing about developing them?

Whether you choose to use email, sms, social media, postcards, phone calls or better still a combination of at least 2 or 3 of them, the first few questions you should ask yourself; Are you and how are you building your relationships with your existing client base, what value are you adding to their lives and businesses ensuring that you keep them as a customer?

Equally important, What are you actively doing about it today?

This does not have to be a monumental task to carry you, “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time”
